1. Hold poles in front of you so the L and R (for left and right hands) are facing you.
2. Open the velcro strap and slide your hand in.
3. Place you thumb into the thumb slot as if you were putting on a glove.
4. Grap the pole and hold it firmly.
5. Tighten the velcro strap until it is snug and secure.
6. Repeat for the other hand.
7. Once you're done using the poles, simply open the velcro strap and withdraw hand.
There will be some play and slack in the Glove Grip depending on your hand size and/or how snug you've tightened it. This is normal and doesn't affect how the poles function.
1. For larger hands and/or a snug Glove Grip, your hand will sit up higher on the grip of the pole.
2. For smaller hands and/or a looser Glove Grip, your hand will sit lower on the grip and your pinky and possibly your ring finger will be off the grip and resting on the pole. This is normal and doesn't affect how the poles function.
1. Ground Level: Adjust poles so your arm forms a 90 degree angle when the pole touches the ground.
2. Inclines: Shorten the poles to maintain a 90 degree angle with your arm.
3. Declines: Lengthen the poles to maintain a 90 degree angle with your arm.
1. Open the Flip Clamps, extend the middle and bottom sections, and set them to the desired height using the markings.
2. With Flip Clamps open, turn the adjuster screw ΒΌ to Β½ turn clockwise to increase the clamp compression to prevent poles from collapsing. DO NOT tighten screw all the way.
3. Close Flip Clamps. You should feel resistance as you close the Flip Clamp and you should hear an audible "snap" when it closes all the way. If the Flip Clamp won't close all the way, it means the screw is too tight. Loosen screw slightly, then try closing Flip Clamp. Repeat if needed.
4. Confirm the clamps are tight enough by leaning forward on the poles. If they start to collapse as more weight is placed on them, back off weight, open Flip Clamps and repeat steps 2 and 3. Repeat step 4 each time poles are used.
